Writesy Press, LLC is a micro-press publishing house, currently serving one client, Author Jenn Shon (alt. Jenn Flynn-Shon.) We have been operational since 2012.

As of late fall 2026, we have published a total of twelve titles (see list below) and as of October 2026, we have a total of nine first editions available on the market. Our author, Jenn Shon, is working to rewrite up to seven of her previous titles. We are looking forward to re-releasing second editions of her work as they are completed.

At this time, no. Publishing is a tough business and we enjoy the challenge of bringing one author's work to market. However, the pressure of marketing isn't something we are looking to do for multiple authors at this time.

The industry has changed since our debut and we're excited for the future of small press publishing. However, generative ai/LLM output will not be part of our line up. Things may take longer this way but we keep all skills in-house and employ trusted business partners who align with the message that creatives and indies deserve payment for their work. As well as recognition for both their experience and imagination. Both things can be true, and are.

Though we may use programs/websites which feature genai options, we have turned off or avoided using said genai during any aspect of our publishing process. As will continue in 2026 and beyond.
